Cortland Apple

This lovely apple is the progeny of the famous McIntosh apple, with slightly larger fruit. It is known for its high yields in colder climates and ripens in early October. The fruit has green/yellow skin with deep red blush with white, soft, fine-grained flesh.

This particular variety has heavy yields annually and is slow to oxidize after being cut, making this an ideal presentation apple (excellent to be displayed on charcuterie boards, fruit platters, or in fresh salads. This apple is lovely for apple pie or sauce!
